Z10 Printer Packages

Complete Labeling Systems

PrinterZip printer packages combine a compatible desktop label printer with the Z10 applicator to create a complete labeling solution.
This is the easiest way to begin using PrinterZip.

What's Included

Each package contains:

A Z10 Applicator

+

One label tray (size selected by you)

+

A verified compatible desktop printer

Because the Z10 requires a printer equipped with a peeler, every printer offered in our packages includes a compatible peel function. Depending on the model:

  • Some printers include a factory-installed peeler

  • Others use a user-installed peeler module

Each product description indicates whether the peeler is factory or user installed.

Selecting Your Z10 Labeling Package

Since the printer is the primary variable between packages, begin by selecting the printer model that best fits your application. We offer both direct thermal and thermal transfer printers from Zebra and Brother.

After selecting your printer, choose the appropriate label tray.

Label Tray Selection

  • After you  select a printer, you will need to select the width and length of the label you will be applying.
  • Standard label sizes are listed on the drop-down menus.
  • We will provide a Label Tray that matches the label size you specify.
  • If your label size is not listed, contact us. We can typically provide custom Tray sizes with short lead time.

  • Each label size requires its own tray

One label tray is included with each package. Additional trays can be purchased separately on the Z10 Applicators page.

Label Material: Labels for desktop printers are made from a variety of materials. Paper labels are most common but specialty labels made from synthetic materials are also sold. In general, stiffer label materials such as paper perform best in our applicators. Synthectic label materials such as polypropolene (sometime called BOPP) are more flexible than paper and should be avoided in lengths greater than 6 inches.

Labels for desktop printers most often come with a 1" diameter core. Labels with a core that is less than 1" diameter are not recommended.

Labels should be rectangular or square in shape with no cutouts along the edges. Other shapes sometimes work but it is best to contact us with details.
